FLAMEnco Lights Up SummerStage 2011 at the PAC!
Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust presents Reflejos Flamencos in ‘Noche Andaluza’ on July 30 at 7pm in the Liddy Doenges Theatre. This family flamenco music and dance trio of Johnny Beard, Lexi Allen and Dylan Allen returns with their Flamenco Tulsa dancers and friends to bring the passionate music and dance of southern Spain to the TPAC stage.
‘Noche Andaluza’ gives a deeper look into the tradition, the influences (such as Indian Kathak and Dance Orientale / Maghrebi Berber dance), and the evolution of the flamenco art form popularized by the Spanish gypsies. Hear the romantic melodies of the Spanish guitar, see the elegant and powerful dance, and feel the explosive rhythms. It is an unforgettable cultural experience for everyone!

Connor’s Cove Children’s Theatre-October 5
Reflejos Flamencos does a special performance for the Connor’s Cove Children’s Theatre from 7-8pm at the Hardesty Regional Library on 93rd & Memorial. This is a wonderful venue and a great show for the whole family!
El Guapo’s Downtown-October 14
Come see Reflejos Flamencos at El Guapo’s Restaurant in downtown Tulsa from 8-10pm! We will be performing on the second floor of the restaurant, located on 1st & Elgin.
FlamencoTULSA Halloween Fiesta!- October 23

FlamencoTULSA Classes – Every Saturday
Flamenco classes are held every Saturday at the South Tulsa Dance Co (STDC) at 103rd & Memorial.
10-11AM -FLAMENCO CHOREOGRAPHY CLASS ($15 drop in); 11:10-12PM- INTRO TO FLAMENCO DANCE ($12 drop in); 12:10-1PM- FLAMENCO FOR KIDS ($10 drop in); Percussion (Cajon) Classes & Guitar Classes are scheduled individually.
