Summer Classes, Mayfest & More!
We have a busy month ahead of us! We will have several performances at festivals and fundraisers as well as a few opportunities for the flamenco dance students to show their stuff! At the end of May we will kick off our summer dance classes so check out our class schedule and get your enrollment form turned in!
APRIL 16-18 (7:30pm, Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 2nd & Cincinnati) – You have the chance to see flamenco at the PAC! ORU’s dance department showcases a years worth of work, including two pieces choreographed by Lexi Allen from Reflejos Flamencos. Lexi’s ORU students will perform the Tango Gitano and the Livianas. MAY 1 (Whole Foods on Brookside, 41st & Peoria) – Flamenco at Whole Foods! Reflejos Flamencos will perform with Lon de Ada. Lots of healthy flamenco fun! More info to come…
MAY 2 (7pm, Tulsa Garden Center, 21st & Peoria) – Reflejos Flamencos performs for the Engineers Without Borders wine tasting to raise money to support eco-friendly construction in Bolivia. 918-437-0282.
MAY 15 (2pm, Bartlett Square, 5th & Main) – Reflejos Flamencos and ¡FlamencoTULSA! students perform at the Tulsa Mayfest. Fun for the whole family!!
MAY 22 ¡FlamencoTULSA! Summer Classes (South Tulsa Dance Co., 103rd & Memorial) – Our new summer classes start May 22nd!! Join the excitement and sign up for Intro to Flamenco Dance. This summer we are also happy to offer Flamenco por Fiesta! This class is designed to teach dance, palmas, even cajon, and jaleo for a party atmosphere or casual fun performance. JUNE 5th (9pm, Lola’s at the Bowery, 5 East Brady) – Reflejos Flamencos is back at Lola’s for another evening of great food(I recommend the pizza) and Flamenco music & dance. Come and enjoy a night out on the town!

Reflejos Flamencos returns to Lola’s at the Bowery on Saturday, January 9th at 9pm. So mark the date on your calendar, and come enjoy some fantastic food, drinks, and of course flamenco music and dance!
You don’t want to miss this exciting show where we will debut new pieces by our flamenco trio of guitar, dance, and percussion, as well as some solo flamenco guitar.
