Cafe Flamenco & Sabado Flamenco Fall Classes!
We are excited to announce that Agora Coffeehouse (Northwest of the fountain in Fontana) will be hosting Cafe Flamenco from 8:00-11:00pm on Friday, August 28th. It will be an informal night of flamenco inspired by tablaos flamencos and cafes cantantes. Bring your dancing shoes & guitars! It is open to everyone!
Don’t forget Fall Flamenco classes start Saturday, August 29th!! We are bringing back the Sevillanas class those who have never danced before or those want to brush up on this Spanish folklorik partner dance. We will also have a Flamenco Dance Technique class for adults that will focus on armwork and footwork excercise as well as various marcaje (marking) techniques. This class is great for beginners and experienced flamenco dancers. Our Flamenco Choreography class that will be working on a Fandangos with castanets and our Flamenco Dance for Kids will learn a fun and rhythmic dance. Flamenco guitar and flamenco cajon (percussion drum) class will also be offered.
